Makhachev and McGregor Favored for Oliveira's Next Opponent

A likely unrecognizable name to the common UFC fan is the favorite to challenge Charles Oliveira for the lightweight belt.

Islam Makhachev, who is positioned third in UFC’s lightweight division rankings, is an odds-on favorite (-150) to meet Oliveira in the octagon.

SportsBetting.ag released odds for the potential bout back in late February, and Makhachev opened as a huge -415 favorite against Oliveira (+345).

Professional bettors backing the underdog have moved that line down to Oliveira +190, Makhachev -225.

Conor McGregor is second on the list for Oliveira’s next opponent while the recently-mangled Max Holloway is the longshot.
