Malta Poker Festival Schedule 2022 Announced

Gambling911.com is excited to announce that another great poker event returns as life slowly gets back to normal in the wake of the global pandemic.  It's our dear friend Ivonne Montealegre's Malta Poker Festival.

If you are of a mindset that Scandinavian and Europeans are bad poker players in general (and easy to beat), this event is definitely a "must attend" for US, Canadians and other players from around the globe.  Montealegre's events attract a large number of Scandinavian players in particular.  A few years back when we were covering a prior event of hers an entire plane was chartered full of poker players from Israel last minute.  Malta is surprisingly easy to access via a number of top European cities flying Malta Air and this Mediterranean island nation is amazing.  Everyone speaks perfect English and they use the euro.  It's also a huge party getaway (Ivoonne's after parties are almost certain to be in the best clubs) and the world's global hub for online gambling.

"This is something that makes me so happy," Montealegre declared via her Facebook page on Saturday.  "Our MPF schedule is here. Great partners, super structures and just all the good vibes Malta has to offer. Time for a 5* Poker Holiday.

"And for those in the island that like poker, this event is one to play for sure, stay tuned for satellites both live and online."

Montealegre is a distant cousin of 2012 Golden Globe Award Best Actress nominee Madeleine Stowe and her great-great grandfather was the first president of the world's second oldest democracy, Costa Rica.

The schedule appears below.
