  • Michigan comes into its game against Minnesota as a -5.5 favorite

  • The Wolverines have moved up to Number 2 in the College Basketball Rankings

  • Michigan still pays out $900 for every $100 bet to win the NCAA Men's College Basketball Championship

  • BetUS offers a generous welcome bonus (max bonus $3125)

The red hot Wolverines are a -5.5 point favorite versus Minnesota.  The line opened at -5.

Michigan appears unstopable, moving to number 2 in the College Basketball Rankings.

Jeff Borzello, college basketball insider, said of the Wolverines:

Michigan's win over Wisconsin was one of the best single-game performances we've seen all season. I mean, a 36-3 run? Against a top-10 team? Are you kidding me? Juwan Howard is the favorite alongside Shaka Smart for National Coach of the Year honors, and the Wolverines have barely broken a sweat en route to their 11-0 record. They're old, they're versatile and they have one of the most unique and difficult matchups in the country in Dickinson. Recency bias is undoubtedly a factor, but I would peg Michigan as the Big Ten favorite, just ahead of Iowa.

Michigan currently pays out $900 for every $100 bet.

Minnesota (10-4) and ranked number 17 is coming off a loss here.  Luka Garza scored 33 points and Joe Wieskamp added 20 as No. 5 Iowa defeated No. 16 Minnesota 86-71 on Sunday.

The Golden Gophers rallied from a 63-45 deficit to get within five twice late in the second half. It started to look like the Gophers’ earlier win against the Hawkeyes, when they rallied from seven points down with 44 seconds left in the second half to send it to overtime.

“We fought hard to get back within five, which is great,” Minnesota coach Richard Pitino said. “But then we took ill-advised shots. We just took some bad shots down the stretch and couldn’t get stops.”

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
