Mike Sexton in Home Hospice as Cancer Spreads
Linda Johnson, known as "The First Lady of Poker" disclosed via Twitter Tuesday evening that professional poker player and commentator Mike Sexton is in home hospice.

Mike Sexton is poker’s greatest ambassadors. He authorized this tweet. He has only wanted to deliver positive messages so he kept his health problems private. Mike has been battling prostate cancer that has recently spread to other organs. He began in-home hospice a month ago.

Johnson advised the poker community that Sexton has been battling prostate cancer that has since spread into other organs. Hospice is considered end-of-life care. He began the service a month ago.
Upon breaking the news, many from the poker community quickly chimed in to send their prayers.
Sexton is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame.
