The Dubs stole, and I mean stole, home court with a furious third quarter rally to win Game 2, leveling the series at a game each. Both clubs have concerns heading into the pivotal matchup on Wednesday. The Raps need to shoot the basketball more accurately and the Dubs need healthy bodies.

Odds Analysis
The Raptors felt they let one slip away in Game 2, falling 109-104. And it was an uncharacteristic stretch of play in the third quarter that was their downfall. Toronto did a number on Milwaukee’s efficient attack to win four in a row and reach the Finals. But they were steamrolled by a patented Golden State run that turned a 5-point deficit into a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. The Raps had their five-game SU and ATS playoff win streak come to an end and will look to improve on their 4-4 road playoff record.
Showing off a disturbing trend in the Western Conference Final of falling behind by double digits, the Warriors did it again on Sunday. However, like those games against the Blazers, the Dubs showed how potent they are by once again overcoming the deficit and snatching a win. They had to work without their leading scorer, again, but the Warriors got by without Kevin Durant and improved to 6-1 in the seven full games KD has missed. Golden State opened as a 5.5-point favorite, however, with Klay Thompson a game-time decision that number was wagered down a point.
Raptors
If the Raps can find a happy medium they’ll be just fine. They scorched the nets in Game 1 shooting over 50 percent overall and 39.4 percent from deep as a team. Those numbers dropped significantly the next outing to 37.2 and 28.9 percent. “We still got to where we wanted to get,” Kyle Lowry said. Now they just have to bury shots. Pascal Siakam had a direct connection to the rise and fall. He hit 14 of 17 shots for a playoff career-best 32 points in the opener. He missed his first three attempts in Game 2, matching his total from Game 1, and finished 5 of 18 for 12 points.
Kawhi Leonard will be a factor like he has been all season. Following an off-night by his standards in Game 1, Leonard responded with a 34-point performance on Sunday, singlehandedly giving the Raps a chance. Leonard will play his first game at Oracle since Game 1 of the 2017 West Final when he was injured after scoring 26 points. He missed the regular season contest, which the Raptors won 113-93.
Warriors
Durant has been ruled out for Game 3, though Steve Kerr says he is improving. It’ll be the eighth straight game he’s missed with a sore calf and the Dubs have fared quite well in his absence going 6-1 in the previous seven. There are other injury concerns. Thompson limped off the floor in Game 2 with a bad hammy and Kerr said it’ll be a game-time decision whether or not he plays. Kevon Looney is also out leaving the Dubs thin. They did get DeMarcus Cousins back for Game 2 alleviating some of the depth issues.
The potential loss of Thompson would be a crippling blow to the Dubs. Thompson led them with 25 points in Game 2 and is 7 of 12 from three-point territory in the series. The Warriors’ had similar offensive numbers in the first two games scoring 109 points in each, but that would be impacted without Klay. Steph Curry would be the only consistent scoring threat and the Raps would be relentless in defending him.
Bet Raptors at Warriors at BookMaker.eu
Despite their loss in Game 2, the Raptors are a confident bunch and realize better accuracy from the field prevented them from taking a 2-0 lead. No player shot better than 50 percent and even with poor shooting the Raps were in it. And they are confident after winning in Oracle convincingly during the regular season without Leonard. That means nothing on Wednesday, but I do anticipate a better offensive performance leading to an important Toronto win on the road.
NBA Finals Score Prediction: Raptors 113, Warriors 108
