Michigan Sports Betting, Other Gaming Bills Move to Senate Floor

Michigan's Senate Regulatory Reform Committee on Tuesday morning unanimously voted to move a package of gaming bills, including sports betting, to the Senate floor.
After ongoing negotiations with the governor, the tax rate for sports betting will be 8.4 percent.
NY Sports Betting Revenue Plummets in November
Sports betting in New York State witnessed a 41% drop in November following a 4.4% month-over-month decline in October.
The state’s sports books grossed $2.2 million in revenue during the month of October and $1.2 million in November.
New York has allowed in-person sports betting at four upstate casinos. It does not permit mobile wagering.
