From their website… “Action247 launched with the simple idea of creating a world-class sportsbook for the people of Tennessee and having a ton of fun doing it. We’re not a mega-corporation from some far off land. We’re Tennessee owned and operated.”
Two national brands have also gained entry into the state's sports wagering market: FanDuel and Draftkings.
Tennessee does not have land-based casinos. All sports betting will be conducted via mobile devices and laptops.
There are no restrictions on the number of licenses that may be issued for interactive sports gaming operations, but licensees and suppliers must meet suitability requirements.
Customers must be at least 21 years old to play and physically located in Tennessee at the time a wager is placed.
Sports betting is expected to go live in the state on November 1.
