Michigan (2-4) and No. 3 Ohio State (5-0) did not happen and there was some concern that the Buckeyes would be ineligible for the Big Ten Championship Game.  Indeed, they will be and this means Ohio State faces Northwestern December 19.

The line on the Northwestern-Ohio State game opened at -19.5 Buckeyes and quickly shot up to -21.

Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald said he supported the decision to move No. 4 Ohio State into next week's Big Ten title game against his team and admits the Wildcats stand little chance of winning.

"I'm sure we're going to be underdogs by like 70," Fitzgerald joked following No. 14 Northwestern's 28-10 win over Illinois on Saturday.

Not even close, but they are still dogs by three touchdowns.

With a victory over the Bruins, the Huskies would clinch bowl eligibility. This would seem to be the Huskies best shot at securing a postseason berth, with No. 1 ranked Oregon looming in the regular season finale next week.
