Odds to Win the Indy 500 - 2018

Gambling911.com has your odds to win this year's Indy 500 with Josef Newgarden, Scott Dixon, Helio Castroneves and Will Power each promising a payout of $100 or more on a $10 bet. . This event takes place Memorial Day May 17, 2018 with bets needing to be placed before Noon EST.  Race time is 12:19 pm EST.

Alexander Rossi was coming in as the odds-on favorite to win at 7/1 odds.

Additionally there was betting offered on whether drivers will finish among the top 3 with Rossi paying $20 for every $10 bet with a top 3 finish and all others paying $30 or greater.

Rossi said the row 11 starting position doesn’t faze him.

“It will be difficult, but this car rewards getting into the mechanical window,” Rossi said. “We saw that at Phoenix and showed that you can make it happen if you make the right decision. We are going to go into the race with the confidence we can have the car in the right mechanical window to make that happen.

“There will be cars that find that sweet spot with a setup. The window of this car is so small, and everyone is close to being in it, but they aren’t quite there. They have these things they are fighting, but there will be one or two cars that find it and get it in that window and will be able to pass. Before, the window was much wider, and everyone could pass.

“This car really does reward finding that window. That doesn’t mean we will find that window, but the opportunity is there.”

Rossi is the only driver Sunday in single digit odds to win the Inday 500 this year.

Josef Newgarden and Scott Dixon are just two of the drivers coming in between 10/1 and 12/1 odds depending on the book.

Dixon is hungry for another win.  He had a victory in 2008 and finished 4th in 2015.

“Once you get that feeling it’s just like a big machine,” Dixon told IndyStar. “It just keeps building and building and building. It’s definitely something that I want to obviously do again.”
