2021 Now the Highest-Winning Year Ever for US Casinos Plus Ohio Sports Betting Close

America's casinos have won more money this year than ever before, according to figures released Thursday from a national gambling trade association.

The American Gaming Association said U.S. casinos have already broken the record for most money won in a single year at $44.15 billion.

The total surpassed the record set in all of 2019, which was $43.65 billion.

And it looks like we are finally going to see sports betting in Ohio after a prolonged wait period.

A bill to legalize sports gambling in the state sailed through both the Senate (31-1) and House (72-12) on Wednesday.

Governor Mike DeWine is expected to sign H.B. 29 into law.
