All Unibet Land-Based Poker Tournaments Going Online Rest of Year
The online poker site Unibet has opted to suspend all land-based poker tournaments for the remainder of 2020 and bring most of those online.
Unibet Head of Events, Nataly Sopacuaperu issued the following statement: “We fully understand the impact to our partners and the land-based venues.” However, as a priority, we must consider not only the health of our customers but also the difficulty for recreational players with regards to planning trips around uncertainty.
The €1,000,000 Unibet Online Series starts from May 1, 2020, and the main event begins from May 24, 2020.
Today, @UnibetPoker Poker announced that all land-based poker events will move to their online poker room for the rest of the year, with three Unibet Open Onlines scheduled for 2020.
