It's often difficult to wager on the outcome of the Oscars because most of the categories have such overwhelming favorites.

But there are always a few upsets throughout the night so if you're interested in learning about the Las Vegas side of the Academy Awards, take a look at the current Oscars odds and analysis below, which are provided by the online gambling site SportsBetting.ag.

There are also some cool prop bets to accompany Sunday's show including, will anyone trip or fall on their way to the stage, how many people will put on glasses before reading cue card and who Best Actor will thank first.

Oscars betting odds were initially posted on January 13. And some of the numbers have changed drastically, perhaps giving us insight as to who the winners might be.

"There aren't a lot of recreational bettors that want to gamble on the Oscars," said Robert Cooper, odds manager at SportsBetting.ag. "We're mostly drawing professional action for entertainment events like these, which is why you see some major line movements. More often than not, the pros win their bets so it does give you an idea of what might transpire."

For instance, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood opened as the favorite for Best Picture, but now it trails 1917 and Parasite.

Joaquin Phoenix opened as a healthy 1/10 favorite (meaning you had to wager $10 just to win $1), but now he has 1/25 odds because bettors are convinced there is no one else that will win.

For Best Director, Sam Mendes was initially set as the favorite, but only slightly with 4/5 odds. However, after ample bets on Mendes he now has 1/9 odds.
