The Carolina Panthers welcome back quarterback Cam Newton to the team on Sunday, November 14th when they face the Arizona Cardinal. The Cardinals are a -10.5 favorite here.
On Thursday afternoon it was announced that Cam Newton was being signed by the team that originally drafted him—the Carolina Panthers. Newton was the 2015 NFL MVP and led the Panthers to the Super Bowl during his tenure with the team. Matt Rhule wouldn’t rule Newton out of the game on Sunday, but he has a lot to learn when it comes to the playbook in a short amount of time.
Kyler Murray is questionable with an ankle injury for the Cardinals, but Colt McCoy and the rest of the Cardinals offense played extremely well last week in their win over the 49ers.
