Partypoker Makes Sweeping Changes to its Tables' Look and Functionality
PartyPoker on Monday introduced its new downloadable software update that features improved table graphics and animations.
PokerNews remarked: "Players can choose from a range of new playing cards, emojis, avatars, and the ever-popular throwables, all of which help pass the time during a typical poker grind."
Additionally there is the ability to change the table felts, playing cards, and even your betting buttons is now possible from your table.
Avatars are much larger and visible. "Those avatars flash different colors to help you quickly see if someone has bet, folded, or is pondering their options," PokerNews notes.
In the end, it's all about what the players think.
The verdict?
Professional poker player Joshua Hoesel tweeted:
"At beginning was difficult but now 3 hours into sesh im loving it. so far only thing i didnt like was the size of the player name + chips (scaling seems a bit off) but fixed that with partycaption. very smooth, only using 1.8% CPU and 471mb ram."
NoBluffNoMoney had a slightly different take, tweeting:
"Cards curves - unreadable huge avatars - distracting fonts are terrible in an hour, the eyes begin to get sick now it is the worst poker client."
