The New England Patriots big win over the Buffalo Bills was yet another victory for the wagering public that saw Week 8 become one of their most profitable in recent memories.

Huge public victories over the weekend had many gamblers laying it all on the line Monday night with New England as a -13 to -14 road favorite.  They won 25-6.

Dave Mason of BetOnline tweeted ahead of the Monday Night Football game:

Gulp. Going to be the biggest decision of the season. Putting on my Derek Anderson jersey.
84% of cash on Patriots (-14)
64% of cash on Over (43.5)

He posted 24 hours ahead of this game following Sunday's bloodbath:

Belated congrats to the betting public for a very profitable yesterday! Who are you putting your winnings on tonight? The Pats -13.5 or the Bills +13.5?

"It's very unusual to have so many games with the sharps on the same side," MGM sports book linesman Jeff Stoneback told ESPN.com after Sunday's games. "You don't see that all that often."

"Worst Sunday of the season so far. Not a bloodbath but a solid loser," South Point sportsbook director Tim Fitzgerald said Sunday night.
