Hellmuth Declared the Poker "GOAT", Breaks Another Record, Mouth Wants Apology From Younger Players
Phil Hellmuth made more history at this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP), finishing second at Event #84: $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller.
The record 16-time bracelet holder has now shattered another record: Most final tables in a single year.
This is Hellmuth's seventh appearance at a WSOP final table in 2021, breaking the record held by An Tran since 1992.
And that had Mike "The Mouth" Matusow proclaiming Hellmuth as "The GOAT" in poker. He also demanded that the "young haters" apologize for doubting the Poker Brat's talent.
I hope after @phil_hellmuth 2nd place finish in 50 k plo along with a record breaking 7 final tables in 7/different events that all the haters apologize because all the young players should realize that all the charts in world can’t beat talent! @phil_hellmuth is the GOAT!

Most of Mike's followers were in agreement.
A Twitter follower named Sal wrote:
"He is the GOAT - hands down - no doubt the best ever to play the game - in all different facets - no one can say he has done what he has accomplished - no one - Simply put - Phil is Legendary !"
