Week 8 Power Ranking

From NFL.com: "The Steelers were off this week. Their defense had been on the two weeks before that. Well, as on as it needed to be, allowing only 38 combined points against the Falcons and Bengals. Been saying on "The Power Rankings Show" for a month now that Keith Butler's unit merely needs to be viable for this team to go far. While the performances against Atlanta and Cincy were hardly suffocating, think about how well those offenses have played this season. The Falcons scored 104 points over three contests prior to facing Pittsburgh, while the Bengals were averaging over 30 points per game before they fell to Sixburgh. Not bad."

Pittsburgh was coming in as the 6th best team in the league on the Sagarin Ratings.

From ESPN.com: "Embattled Steelers cornerback Artie Burns confirmed he got an interception during Thursday's practice. He'll likely start Sunday vs. Cleveland and is hoping to use the game as a springboard."

Post-bye, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expecting even more from James Conner, who is second in the NFL with seven rushing touchdowns. "I'm excited for him to really get a push," he said. "And be even more involved than he has been."
