Poker Pro Gentleman John Gale Dies at 65
Poker pro John Gale has passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 65. Gale had been in remission for a time.
Gale enjoyed much success on the live poker circuit, winning $3,893,838 lifetime, including $890,600 at the PCA $ 7,800 + 200 WPT Main Event - No Limit Hold’em in 2005. He had a number of six figure cashes this that time.
Saddened to hear from Harry Demetriou that John Gale passed away yesterday. He was just 65. Poker has lost a lovely man, & he was an absolute credit to the game. Thoughts go to Shirley & his family. RIP John.
