A poker pro credits a big grudge match bet win between his business partner and the mighty Daniel "Kid Poker" Negreanu.
Back Story
- Ryan Fee is a co-founder along with Doug Polk of Upswing Poker, a poker coaching site.
- Polk beat Negreanu in their High Stakes Feud heads-up match booking a whopping profit of $1,200,000 over 25,000 hands.
- A portion of that money made its way to Fee and ultimately a brand new Lamborghini with customized plates that read "TYDNEGS", short for "Thank You Daniel Negreanu".
- Fee reportedly had a side bet related to the grudge match. Lamborghinis typically start at around $200,000 in price.
The Side Bet
- Shaun Deeb had bet that Doug Polk would not win by a margin of more than $1.1 million, and looked odds on to collect until Negreanu fell apart over the last 1,000 hands. Deeb only lost $10,000, so he won’t be too upset, even if losing was a little unexpected.
The problem with Lamborghini's is that normally they are too expensive...
