PokerStars Coming to PA

Online poker is set to go live in the state of Pennsylvania and the world's largest real money site, PokerStars, has finally been granted permission to operate in the Keystone State.

Pennsylvania legalized online poker last year but no site has launched to date.  That is expected to happen some time by spring.

PokerStars currently operates only in the state of New Jersey, both a web card room and sportsbook.  They have not been welcome in all states, most notably California, due to their conducting business in the U.S. after prohibition had passed in 2007.

PokerStars will be partnering with Mount Airy Lodge in Northeast PA to offer Internet poker.
