Henrik Stenson is out as Ryder Cup captain of the 2023 European team after joining the LIV Tour, Ryder Cup Europe announced Wednesday July 20.

So, who will step in to fill the shoes of the Swedish major champion? There is a hefty favorite, according to the oddsmakers.

SportsBetting.ag made Thomas Bjorn the odds-on favorite at 2-5 (or -250). Luke Donald is second on the list, and he is the only other candidate with better than 10-1 odds.

Rory McIlroy has the longest odds at 70-1.
