One of the biggest public favorites of the week is the New England Patriots facing off against the dreadful New York Jets.  In fact, some 90% of the spread bets were coming in on the Pats.

Should I Fade The Patriots?

The simple answer is a resounding YES.  It also helps that we have another big favorite in the Packers that books are reacting to the action coming in by dramatically shifting the line from -7.5 to -9.

Okay, so it's true that Gambling911.com has a line of New England -8.5 here.  But the telltale sign is that some books have moved this one to -7.5 already and back down to -7.  This shows us there is a concern that the game score could fall on Patriots by 7.

Ultimately it comes down to NOT BEING THE SUCKER.  New England has beaten the Jets in each of their last ten games, mostly by more than the current spread.  If you're a gambler, you're thinking....NO WAY DOES NEW ENGLAND NOT COVER.

The books we believe have other thoughts.

Take the Jets here at +7 and thank us later.
