Long time sports handicapper Ben Burns will now be part of the WagerTalk.com community following word that Covers.com will be shutting down its sports handicapping arm.

Lawrence "The Prez" Prezman of WagerTalk broke the news Monday July 18, 2022 that his company will be signing Burns and two other fromer Covers.com sports handicappers exclusively.

Burns was described on the Covers.com website as their "most popular handicapper", so he must be good.

Ben's top rated (10*) MLB plays are said to have been on a long-term run, generating $79.24K in net profit, according to the Covers.com website.  His profile was yet to be scrubbed as of this writing, but it will be soon.

The Covers.com move is part of a site overhaul and acquisition process, according to reports.

That site's expert picks section has been a staple in the sports betting industry for close to three decades.

WagerTalk reps tell Gambling911.com the moves came only after amicable talks with Covers.com and a promise not to reveal the news until the July 18 date.
