Yesterday we saw indicators of a great play and that's what we got with the Cornhuskers.

The Warriors are seeing 70% of the spread action as a -1 favorite in Denver.  This one has been hovering between Golden State -1.5 and Denver -1 with most books back at -1 favoring the Warriors.

It is a bit surprising to us that the books aren't moving more aggressively towards the -1.5 or even -2 favoring Golden State.  There isn't a whole lot of confidence in the Warriors for this game.

Indeed, Sagarin indicates a line of Denver -1.

Denver has won three of the last four in this series and four of the last six.  The home team has won seven of the last ten in this series.  In the three away games, Golden State has won two of those.

The T'Wolves-76ers game was not seeing as much action as Golden State-Denver, however, Philadelphia was seeing better than 90% of the spread action at home as a -6.5 favorite.

We have one of the sharp books holding steady at -6 and some books have moved from -5.5 to -6 so there is not enough to indicate an opinion here.

Virginia Tech was seeing 58% of the action versus Virginia as a +7.5 dog.  Not surprisingly, this line has come down off of +8.5.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
