UGA vs. South Carolina Game Spread Week 3
The early spread on the Georgia-South Carolina game had the Bulldogs as a -23.5 favorite with Caesars Sportsbook at 25.1 shortly after 2 pm ET Sunday. The number opened at -21.5 at FanDuel.
Sagarin Week 3 power ratings had Georgia with a power rating at 94.39 (down from 95.28) and South Carolina at 76.72 (up from 74.13 despite the loss to Arkansas) for a number of 17.67 once home field advantage is added in. We're a bit surprised the Gamecocks power rating has been improved. We were now looking at as much as a 6-point overlay Sunday afternoon.
Georgia enjoyed a shutout 33-0 victory over Sanford in Week 2. That was a failed cover with the number set at -53. Prior to this victory, UGA enjoyed a 49-3 victory against an Oregon team that was supposed to be solid heading into 2022.
The No. 16 Razorbacks beat South Carolina 44-30 on Saturday in a game that featured a line that went from 9.5 to as high as 15.5 in the waning minutes before game time.
Oklahoma transfer Spencer Rattler threw for 371 yards and a touchdown on 23 of 38 passing with a touchdown for South Carolina.

The Gamecocks are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 conference games and 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
