Unikrn Could Get Green Light to Add Cash Tournaments in US
(December 12, 2019) - The Colorado Division of Gaming announced this week it will green light betting and wagering on eSports as part of its sports betting package, gaming attorney Jeff Ifrah revealed.
"This means sites like Unikrn, an online eSports betting house using a virtual currency that can't be converted into real money, will likely soon be able to add cash tournaments in the US," Ifrah said. "It's unclear how online gambling will work across state lines, but will be interesting to watch as lawmakers craft new rules."
Applications will be released in January.
