Why They Go Deep

If you saw Virginia's 18-for-25 shooting performance from 3-point territory against Syracuse, you saw a team shoot better than the equivalent of 100 percent from 2-point range. Virginia is a fabulous offensive team that can shoot it from multiple spots (Kyle Guy, Ty Jerome and De'Andre Hunter). This looks like the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.

Why Be Concerned

It's obvious.  Despite being among the top ranked teams in the country (number two in fact coming into the weekend), Tennessee did fall to FSU in the ACC Tournament.

With this defeat, the Cavaliers stressed focused on bouncing back and regrouping.  It remains to be seen whether this team becomes demoralized or determined as a result of the upset loss.  If it's the later, UVA may go all the way.

Who They Will Play

Prairie View A&M looks like their opponent, though Fairleigh Dickinson was still in the mix.  New Jersey sports bettors will need to seek out alternative sites here to those based in the Garden State if the later is the case as NJ does not allow bets to be taken on their college teams.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
