The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino reserves the right to modify any and all Official Tournament Rules at any time in the interest of health and public safety, including, but not limited to adding any requirement that a Participant must be fully vaccinated and/or complete certain testing or screening in order to participate or continue to participate in the WSOP.

And you better get your shot(s) soon.  The 2021 WSOP begins Thu, Sep 30, 2021 and runs through Tue, Nov 23, 2021.  The Johnson & Johnson vaccine only requires a single shot for now.

You will need to receive your final dose at least 14 days prior to your participation date. For players registering for opening day Thursday, September 30th, this means your single dose of Johnson & Johnson or your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna must be received by Thursday, September 16th. For players entering Day 1a of the Main Event on November 4th, this means your single dose of Johnson & Johnson or your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna must be received by October 21st. For international guests, proof of the AstraZeneca vaccine will also be accepted so long as the dose was received at least 14 days prior to registration at the WSOP.
