Washington Football Team Win Over Steelers Ruins Undefeated Record
The NFC East continued to stun heavily favored teams, on the road no less. On Sunday, the New York Giants upset the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Football team followed up with a 23-17 victory over what had been an undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers team. Washington was a +6 dog.
Pittsburgh had led the game throughout. Washington managed to tie at the 9:09 mark of the 4th quarter with Logan Thomas scoring the touchdown.
Dustin Hopkins then made a 45 yard field goal at the 2:07 mark, taking the Washington Football Team up three points (20-17).
The icing on the cake came at the 0:17 mark with another Hopkins field goal.
