“The Wavesbet team is excited to welcome McAfee on board as it is expected that the partnership will bring great advancements for the platform based on his vast experience in the blockchain industry.” the site wrote as part of a distributed press release.

Cryptocurrencies now account for up to 70% of funding at many of the top mainstay online sportsbooks and casinos catering to restrictive markets that include the United States.  A number of these betting companies now offer the option of setting up anonymous wagering accounts by only supplying a valid email or an email/text number/name combo.

McAfee started one of the preeminent Web security firms, McAfee Associates, in 1987.  He has since immersed himself in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Wavesbet bills itself as “an online betting platform where the user, through the Waves Network, can use smart contracts to place their bets”.
