The Women's 800m Final has Athing Mu as a -175 favorite to take home the gold.  She is an American middle-distance runner who set the world under-20 record in the women's indoor 800 meters in early 2021 with a time of 1:58.40 sec, and the world under-20 best in the indoor 600 meters in 2019 when she was 16 years of age.

Rose Mary Almanza pays $525 for every $100 bet and Werkwuha Getachew pays $650.  

Almanza Blanco is a Cuban middle-distance runner who competes in the 800 metres. She represented Cuba at the Pan American Games in 2011, 2015 and 2019 and won medals at the Ibero-American and Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics.

Werkwuha Getachew represents Ethiopia. She set a new national record. Her previous best had been 2:00.20 but she became the first woman in the world to break 1:57 in 2021 and, in doing so, secured her spot at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.

Odds on UFC Abu Dhabi Released

The third fight for UFC Abu Dhabi was announced late Thursday with Petr Yan and Marcus McGhee being added to the card.  This fight will take place July 26.
