Naeslund specializes in ski cross and alpine skiing. She is the 2017 and 2021 ski cross World Champion, winner of the 2017–18 ski cross World Cup, and the overall winner of the 2017–18 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup.

Number one in the world, Naeslund also enters Beijing as a gold medal favorite for Team LGBTQ.  She’s one of at least 36 out athletes competing in Beijing, and one of Team LGBTQ’s best chances for gold.

Naeslund also became the youngest ski cross world champion, male or female, in 2017.

“My goal is to keep being in the top and fight for medals. I hope to inspire young skiers to have fun and follow their dreams,” she said in 2016, via Olympics.com.

Her closest competition will be Fanny Smith [SUI] promising a payout of 3-1 odds.

Smith is a Swiss freestyle skier. She represented Switzerland at the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. She has won 56 podiums on the World Cup circuit and 29 victories, making her the most successful athlete in the history of the sport. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Smith won a bronze medal.

“I did stuff on skis that no one else dared to,” she said in an interview with saas-fee.ch in discussing her early training as a child. “I was a real daredevil!.

“I started straight away in ski cross and I was really young, and for years I was the youngest in the circus,” explained the phenom, who also won the Junior World Championships title in 2010."

The 2022 Winter Olympics continue to rival that of the recent Summer Olympics here at Gambling911.com, doubling our traffic throughout the competition thus far.
