2013 Masters winner Adam Scott pays $5000 on a $100 bet.  He was the first Australian to win a Masters tournament.

Scott has not missed the cut since 2009, so that makes for a good bet.  You can also wager on him to be the top Australian in this year's Masters.

He recently sat down with Australian Golf Digest to discuss the upcoming event.

“As much as I want to win a second Masters for myself, I think my family want to see me get it done for the journey they’ve been on with me,” Scott told Australian Golf Digest on Tuesday at Augusta.

“It’s fun thinking about my kids hopefully seeing me win at Augusta; they don’t understand why I don’t win trophies every week.

“Obviously, it’d also be great for me to become a multiple Major champion for the sacrifices I think I’ve made to the game.”

One reason he has value - or maybe four reasons - is that the world No.36 owns four tops 10s already this year.

I’m probably playing the best I have since Covid hit,” said Scott.  “Hopefully, I have another six years at top level

“I do believe my best golf is ahead of me and that may sound weird but Vijay did it in his 40s,” he added of golf great Vijay Singh, who won the 2004 PGA aged 41.

“I think all the advancements in information and technology are now falling into place for me to do well.”
