Gambling911.com has the Dallas Cowboys as an early -8.5 home favorite against the Las Vegas Raiders.  Books opened this one at Dallas -7 and it has moved to -7.5, more in line with our original number.

Las Vegas is 3-3 all time on Thanksgiving but hasn't played since a 24-7 loss to these Cowboys in 2009.  And before that they had not played on Thanksgiving Day since 1970, losing to the Lions.

The NFL's Thanksgiving Day games have traditionally included one game hosted by the Detroit Lions since 1934, and one game hosted by the Dallas Cowboys since 1966 (with two exceptions in 1975 and 1977).

The Raiders were playing the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 hoping to avoid a three-game skid.  One of those losses came at the hands of the 3-6 Giants.  The other was a blowout by Kansas City.

Dallas made up for an embarrassing home loss against the Broncos with a punishing 43-3 beatdown of Atlanta.  They were playing the Chiefs in Week 11.
