Modernist will pay out $1800 for every $100 to win the 2020 Belmont Stakes Saturday June 20.

Modernist finished third in the Louisiana Derby and, prior to that race, first in the Risen Stakes. Trainer Bill Mott was at first a little hesitant to enter him in this weekend's Belmont Stakes.
"He absolutely looked good today," said Mott following a workout earlier in the week. "That helped make our decision."
Mott enters the Belmont Stakes with 4,999 North American wins.
