The Chiefs open their 2020 NFL season looking to defend their Super Bowl title at home versus the Houston Texans. The line on this game opened with the biggest number in Week 1 (Chiefs -9.5).

Two of the recent blowouts by the Chiefs have been in January (earlier this year and in 2016). Otherwise, Houston has won two of the last five games in this series dating back to 2016. Four of the last six dating back to 2015 have resulted in the Texans covering the spread using the 9.5 number.
