Where Can I Bet Golf Online From Florida?

You can bet golf online from the state of Florida courtesy of our friends at BetOnline.  They offer a generous welcome bonus (max bonus $1000).

No More Hard Rock Sportsbook App

The short-lived Seminoles Hard Rock sports betting app was shuttered after only a few weeks following a court ruling.

A federal court judge ruled that a compact the Seminoles entered into with the state was in violation of the Florida Constitution and several federal laws. Owners of the Magic City Casino filed the suit.

Additionally the Seminoles have worked hard at preventing outside gambling firms like DraftKings and FanDuel from entering the market by campaigning against a ballot initiative.

This leaves a huge opportunity for long established and safe sports betting companies operating offshore near exclusive access to the lucrative Florida market.  Of course local bookies still thrive here as well.

Why Betting on Golf is So Lucrative

Betting the winner of a particular event can translate into a nice pay day, typically starting at around $1000 for every $100 bet.  There are also golfers who pay as much as $10,000.  But with a field of 90+ that's easier said than done.

Books will typically offer bets on Top 10 and Top 20 finishers, which are easier to win but with reduced payout odds.

One can also bet the best finish from a particular continent or country (i.e. Top Finishing American).

Who Floridians Root For

Florida was the only state in which Brooks Koepka had the most backing heading into the 2022 Masters.  He'd pay out $2000 for every $100 bet if Floridians proved to be correct.
