The Fighting Irish enjoyed a successful campaign at home going 14-1 Straight Up this season. 

While Rutgers flirted with the Top 25 rankings but comes into this one unranked, Notre Dame is just 7-38 Straight Up against ranked teams dating back to 2016.  Rutgers is good enough that this stands out as a troubling stat for the Irish.
