Tennessee Approves Online Sports Betting

Tennessee became one of around a dozen states to legalize sportsbook within its borders since the US Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting nationwide.  Individual states, however, must still amend their own laws in most cases.  Some are unwilling to do so or there are conflicts, primarily with the powerful tribes, that are preventing this.

Tennessee will not offer retail sportsbooks.  It will only offer online/mobile sports wagering.

Knoxville Bets

This is primarily Vols territory, as one would expect.  It is interesting to note that there are a fair number of Braves fans in this region as well.

A fun fact: Knoxville is one of the top 10 markets for English Premier League in terms of television ratings.
