Where Can I Bet the Presidential Election Online From Texas?

You can bet on the 2020 US Presidential Election from Texas at BetOnline, which is also offering odds on which candidate wins the Lone Star State.

As of October 13, the sitting US President, Donald Trump, was coming in as a comfortable -350 favorite. Biden pays $27.50 on a $10 bet with a win here.

While Rasmussen (Trump +7) tends to lean more heavily towards Republican respondents, Quinnipiac (Trump +5) is more Democrat leaning, so one can speculate the spread is somewhere in the neighborhood of Trump +5/+6.

Officials in Travis County, which encompasses the state capital and Democrat enclave of Austin, says a record number of voters have registered for next month's election.   Hillary Clinton got 66% of the vote here.

Harris County, home to the state's largest city of Houston, shattered its record for early turnout.

More than 100,000 ballots were cast on the first day of early voting, breaking the single-day record in Harris County.

The new record comes with hours to go at the polls and just a few hours after the county broke the record for opening day turnout before 2 p.m.

The old first-day early voting record was about 68,000, which was set on the first day of early voting for the 2016 presidential election.

Early voting in Texas continues through October 30.
