Will the Meadowlands Racetrack Sports Book be Open to Place Bets on UFC 227

The Meadowlands Racetrack sports book is expected to take bets on UFC 227, but there is one small problem.  There have been reports of the FanDuel-branded sports book closing early and not having enough cash on hand to pay winning bets at end of Major League Baseball games that have gone into late night extra innings.  These issues Gambling911.com expects to be resolved.  We will be visiting the FanDuel sports book in the coming weeks to see how things are progressing.

Great News!  The Meadowlands Racetrack sports book will be open until 2 am Saturday August 4 with all fights expected to have concluded long before this time.  Fights start at 10 pm and can be watched at the sports book.  UFC fans also have the option of betting online anywhere else via a number of internationally-licensed wagering sites.

It will be interesting to learn of the turnout Saturday night as UFC 227 could prove to be the biggest wagering event thus far for the newly opened sports book.  Certainly UFC 227 should test the book, especially in terms of cash management.

The main event Saturday August 4 features two-time bantamweight champ T.J. Dillashaw going up against Cody Garbrandt.

This one is expected to be highly competitive with Dillashaw at -115 and Garbrandt at -105.

For future reference, these are the hours of operation for the Meadowlands Racetrack FanDuel Sportsbook:

Monday – Thursday

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Friday

10:00 a.m.  - 2:00 a.m.
Saturday

9:00 a.m.  - 2:00 a.m.
Sunday

9:00 a.m.  - 1:00 a.m.
