All of Saturday's Saratoga races for Saturday were cancelled late Thursday due to an excessive heat warning. Temperatures will reach the mid-90's Saturday afternoon, but feel much higher.

Heat Index Values...Up to 105 today and up to 110 Saturday.

The heat at Monmouth Park Saturday will be even worse.

* HEAT INDEX VALUES...101 to 106 this afternoon, and 105 to 110
on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Values will be a bit
lower in the elevated terrain of the Poconos and far northern
New Jersey.
