William Hill Seeks Lead Ad Agency in U.S.

One of the world's largest bookmakers, William Hill, is in the hunt for a top ad agency for its U.S.A. brands.

In an effort to ensure that the FTSE250 betting group leads the way within the North American betting market as a number of states look to join the likes of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, West Virginia, Delaware, Rhode Island, New Mexico and New York in operating sportsbooks.

The company recently secured new wagering contracts with casino operator Eldorado Resorts Inc and US leisure/entertainment conglomerate MSG Networks.  William Hill already enjoys a major presence in New Jersey, Nevada and Pennsylvania where it operates mobile phone apps in each of those states.  The company also operates sportsbooks in eleven Mississippi casinos and one in West Virginia.

The creative agency review will be one of the first critical directives taken up by Sharron Otterman, recently appointed as William Hill US’ first Chief Marketing Officer, Gambling911.com media partner SBC noted.
