OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Alabama choked but got right back up and dusted themselves off to come from down 0-5 to win 6-5 against Pennsylvania Monday. They advance at this year's Little League World Series (LLWS) to play Washington. This is being touted as the biggest comeback in Little League World Series history. Alabama now pays $181 for every $100 bet to beat Washington on Tuesday.
Alabama promised a payout of $800 for every $100 bet to win this year's Little League World Series.
Alabama entered 1-1 after losing 2-0 to Washington and then crushing California 12-2, while Pennsylvania entered 0-1 after its 3-1 loss to New Jersey.
Pennsylvania is now the eighth team eliminated from the 2026 LLWS, joining Texas, California, Massachusetts, Australia, Dominican Republic, Panama and Czech Republic.
Kinley Rasmus was again a major part of the story. She contributed offensively with an RBI double, continuing a tournament in which she's become one of the most prominent individual players in Williamsport.
Alabama's Phenix City Little League defeated Pennsylvania's East Side Little League 6-5 in extra innings on Monday and now advances to play a Washington team they've already lost to.
Betting on this year's Little League World Series is not without its controversy.
The Little League World Series issued the following statement to Gambling911.com:
"Little League International stands by its statement first issued last year that there is no place for betting on Little League games and players or any youth sports competition. Little League is a trusted place where children are learning the fundamentals of the games and all the important life lessons that come with having fun, celebrating teamwork, and playing with integrity, and no one should be exploiting the success and failures of children playing the game they love for their own personal gain."
"We're not here to say whether gambling on 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds is right or wrong, that's up for you to decide (and possibly write about), we're just delivering the information," BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason tells Gambling911.com.
