ASEAN Championship Odds: Malaysia vs. Philippines 8 August

Malaysia is a big -250 favorite against the Philippines in Saturday's ASEAN Championship match. The Philippines pays better than $500 for every $100 bet if they win. Betting markets are limited for this match but can be found here.

This is effectively a win-and-you're-in contest, with a place in the ASEAN Championship semifinals at stake. Thailand is expected to claim the other qualifying spot from Group B, leaving Malaysia and the Philippines battling for the second semifinal berth.

Thailand will face Myanmar on Saturday, with Thailand installed as a -260 favorite.

Malaysia is playing at home and needs a positive result to advance to the semifinals.

The Philippines also has everything on the line after an encouraging tournament in which they have shown they can compete with the region's top teams.

Goalscorer betitng markets are hard to find but, where available, the top favorites include:

Wan Kuzain – One of Malaysia's most dangerous attacking players in the tournament. He has already found the net and is expected to be among the shortest-priced first goalscorer options.

Kamal is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for USL Championship side Sporting JAX. Born in the United States, he was a United States youth international before appearing for the Malaysia national team

Paulo Josué – The experienced forward remains one of Malaysia's primary scoring threats and a popular anytime goalscorer selection.

Endrick – Another player who scored during Malaysia's 4-0 victory over Laos and is expected to feature prominently in the goalscorer markets.

The Philippines top goalscorers are Jarvey Gayoso, Patrick Reichelt and Gerrit Holtmann.

In the Correct Score market, a 1-0 Malaysia victory pays $700 for every $100 bet.

The Both Teams to Score – YES market is the favorite at -125.
