Antonio Brown Announces He Has Signed With Ravens:  That Team Remains Mum

(April 28, 2023) - In today's bizarro sports news, Antonio Brown apparently announced he had agreed to join the Baltimore Ravens.  That team hasn't confirmed such a signing.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver announced via Twitter that he's "excited to return to the NFL". The announcement was accompanied by a hashtag RavensFlock along with a picture of him in a Baltimore Ravens jersey.

Brown is embroiled in legal trouble over failure to pay child support.

The Ravens were among the luckiest of the NFL teams in the first round of this week's draft, having gotten a formidable playmaker in Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College (No. 22).  They will also be holding onto Lamar Jackson after months of speculation about a potential trade.

Ravens Among Biggest Winners in First Round of Draft

(April 28, 2023) - The Baltimore Ravens have locked down quarterback Lamar Jackson, one of the top trade prospects in recent months.  He now gets a formidable playmaker in Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College (No. 22).

Ravens wide receivers combined for the least number of receiving yards when lined up in the slot last season (248).  Flowers plugs that hole.

"He'll make Jackson's life so much easier. He can run every route, and he'll dominate out of the slot. Yes, the Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr., but that was just a one-year deal. They have plenty of room for Flowers."
