Giants vs. Reds Game Resumes Tuesday Following Suspension, But What Happens to My Bet? (July 18, 2023)
Rain forced suspension of Monday’s series-opener between the San Francisco Giants and Cincinnati Reds with the score tied at 2 and one out in the top of the eighth inning after a one-hour, 55-minute delay.
The game is scheduled to be resumed at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday before the scheduled 7:10 p.m. game. The Giants, who’ve won five straight and six of seven, have runners on second and third.
San Francisco manager Gabe Kapler declined to reveal his pitching plan.
As far as one's bet goes, it's all based on which sportsbook you placed the wager at. Some books feature a "12 hour rule" that requires the game to resume within 12 hours in order for the bet to count. That's won't be the case here.
Still others feature a 36 hour rule while sites like Unibet tell Gambling911.com the bet will count right up until 72 hours.
Monday night's suspension resulted in a massive surge of traffic to the Gambling911 website as folks sought answers to this question of what would happen to their bet on this game.

Vladimir Guerrero joins Vladimir Sr. as first father-son Home Run Derby winners (July 11, 2023)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. won the All-Star Home Run Derby on Monday night, matching Vladimir Sr.'s 2007 title to become the first father-son duo to accomplish the feat.
Guerrero Jr. was being offered at 4-1 odds.
In a ballpark made famous by the Mariners’ Ken Griffey Jr. a generation earlier, Guerrero beat Tampa Bay’s Randy Arozarena 25-23 in the final round. He was 8 when his father won the crown in San Francisco.
“I don’t remember much about 2007,” Vladimir Jr. said. “I guess I was too young.”
