Padres vs. Giants

San Diego comes into this game 7-5, San Francisco 4-8.

Both teams are around -110.

60% of the money line action was on San Diego.

No line movement here.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Padres LH Nick Margavicius (0-1, 1.80 ERA) vs. Giants RH Dereck Rodriguez (1-1, 5.23)

Athletics vs. Orioles

We have a high total here of 10.

This total has moved from 9.5 all the way up to 10.5 at one point and back down to 10.

Nearly all of the early action was on the UNDER.

Three of the last four games between these two teams have resulted in 10 or more runs scored.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Athletics RH Frankie Montas (1-1, 2.45 ERA) vs. Orioles RH Dan Straily (0-0, 33.75 ERA)

Dodgers vs. Cardinals

The Cardinals have won seven of the last ten meetings versus the Dodgers.

The last three played in St. Louis have stayed UNDER this current total of 8.

Eight of the last ten meetings overall have resulted in eight or fewer runs.  Only one of those eight landed on eight runs.  All the others were UNDER that number.

62 percent of the money line action was on the Dodgers, 70% on the OVER 8.

LA is a -110 favorite here.  St. Louis is +108.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Dodgers RH Kenta Maeda (2-0, 3.09 ERA) vs. Cardinals RH Jack Flaherty (0-0, 3.86)

Maeda struggled with his command in his last outing, walking four batters while allowing four hits and one run in five innings of a 10-6 victory at Colorado on Friday. The 30-year-old native of Japan kept the Rockies in the ballpark after Arizona took him deep three times - all solo shots, but Los Angeles provided plenty of support in an 18-5 victory on March 30. Goldschmidt is 6-for-28 and struck out seven times during his days with the Diamondbacks against Maeda, who is 2-0 with a 4.19 ERA in six games (three starts) versus St. Louis.

Flaherty was pulled after five scoreless innings in his last start because of an elevated pitch count (98), allowing six hits and two walks while striking out six in a 5-3 victory over San Diego on Friday. The 23-year-old Californian has registered 212 strikeouts in 181 2/3 frames, including 10 over 9 1/3 this season. Flaherty shut down the Dodgers in two starts late last season, allowing two runs while striking out 18 over 12 innings but absorbing a loss and a no-decision.
