You can bet the Brewers-Cubs series Monday through Wednesday online.

What Are The Lines: Tuesday’s lines had Chicago as a -215 favorite at home, Milwaukee at +193 and a total that was yet to be determined at the time this was going to press.

What We Like:  Jon Lester (starting Wednesday) allowed just two runs with six strikeouts and one walk across six strong innings Thursday versus the Cardinals. He did not factor into the decision.

Lester has been excellent of late, as he has posted a 1.89 ERA with a stellar 21:3 K:BB over his last three starts.

Opposing Brewers starter Jimmy Nelson has allowed four or more runs in four of his last five starts including against the Cubs on July 22 (four runs).

Milwaukee is 1-7 in the last 8 meetings in Chicago.

What We Don’t Like: Expect to pay a hefty price betting the Cubs here.
