Yesterday, Gambling911.com rode St. Louis once again and savoured victory.  It was the red hot A’s who let us down, however, as they just didn’t have enough to take down Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers.  Oakland on a 7 game winning streak playing at home as an underdog was way too tempting.

Today we look at the Arizona Diamondbacks, who are 7-4 on the season thus far and listed as a -122 favorite.  Their record is the same as visiting opponents, the LA Dodgers.

Los Angeles won yesterday but Arizona had won the three previous games and 7 of the last 10 in this series.  LA is just 3-11 in the last 14 meetings.

They will be starting Trevor Cahill.  He is 4-0 when starting against LA Dodgers with an ERA of 2.43 and a WHIP of 1.162 and his team is 5-1 in these starts.

It’s not all good for Cahill.

Arizona is 0-5 in their last 5 games as a home favorite of -110 to -150 when Cahill starts.  Then again, they are 4-0 in his last 4 starts vs. a team with a winning record.

The Dodgers are 1-4 in Josh Beckett's last 5 road starts.  He is 2-4 when starting against Arizona with an ERA of 4.36 and a WHIP of 1.361.  Beckett is 9-20 against the money line in games played on a grass field over the last 2 seasons.

The Dodgers are 8-1 in their last 9 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Gambling911.com sees Arizona winning and this game going OVER 9.
